Walthamstow Reservoirs community consultation

London Wildlife Trust are involved in the initial development phase of Walthamstow Wetlands and are carrying out focused community consultations in order to gain the local communities' thoughts on the project. This is one of the vital consultations that will inform this project.

  1. My first thought is that the consultation will be totally bogus. That is because every single consultation involving any project which Waltham Forest Council is associated with is always totally bogus. Promoting it is complicity in deception.

    The whole wetlands scheme is a scam to award public money to favoured civil engineers. There is no need to spend a penny on the 'wetlands' or to rebrand the existing reservoirs. If you want more people to walk around the reservoirs, just take the padlock off the existing gates. All the rest is a complete waste of public money.
